Appointments to exchange your driver’s licence from another province or country, or to apply for a G1 licence with foreign experience, are available at the following sites. To receive guaranteed service, you must schedule a licence exchange appointment at these locations.

The Brampton DriveTest Centre is relocating!
Starting June 8, 2026, the Brampton DriveTest Centre will move to a new location at Shoppers World Mall at 499 Main St. S., Unit 064, Brampton, Ont., L6Y 1N7.
Our hours of operation, phone number, and scheduled appointments remain the same. If you have a road test appointment scheduled on or after June 8, 2026, it will take place on the same date and time, at the new location.
Temporary Location Change

The Kenora DriveTest Centre has a new testing location for M2 motorcycle road tests!
Effective May 1, 2026, the Kenora DriveTest Centre will conduct all M2 road tests at our new offsite testing location in the parking lot of the Moncrief Construction Sports Centre, at 18 Mike Richards Way, Kenora, P9N 1L2, a four-minute drive from the DriveTest Centre.

Our Smiths Falls DriveTest Centre is relocating!
Starting February 23, 2026, the Smiths Falls DriveTest Centre will move to a new unit in the Settlers Ridge Centre at 283 Brockville St., Unit 3, Smiths Falls, Ont., K7A 4Z6, next to the current location. Our hours of operation, phone number, and scheduled appointments remain the same. If you have a road test appointment scheduled on or after February 23, 2026, it will take place on the same date and time, at the new location.
The Brantford DriveTest Centre is relocating!
Starting February 2, 2026, the Brantford DriveTest Centre will move to a new location at 41 Morton Ave. E., Unit 2, Brantford, Ont., N3R 2N6. Our hours of operation, phone number, and scheduled appointments remain the same. If you have a road test appointment scheduled on or after February 2, 2026, it will take place on the same date and time, at the new location.
Did you know?
As of May 1, 2025, DriveTest no longer offers the CVOR/Tow Truck/Bus test. This has been replaced with digital module training. For additional information regarding the New Entrant Education and Evaluation Program (NEEEP), please contact the Ministry of Transportation.

Important Notice Regarding a Change to the Road Test Booking System
DriveTest introduced a change to ensure that the booking system provides fair access to all who need to take a road test. Prior to canceling any road test, you should ensure that you are unable to attend your road appointment, as all cancellations are final. When you cancel the road test you will have to book a new date and/or time for your road test.
